This study aims to analyze the role of internet media in motivating students to learn Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data gathered through observation, in-depth interviews with PAI teachers and eleventh-grade students, and documentation studies, which were then analyzed using the ARCS Motivation Theory framework (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction). The results indicate that internet media plays a significant and positive role in enhancing learning motivation, serving not only as a diverse learning resource but also as a platform for creative assignments. Instructional methods utilizing internet media effectively fulfill the four components of ARCS by attracting attention through visualization, increasing relevance by linking material to contemporary issues, fostering confidence through autonomous learning, and providing satisfaction through the recognition of digital work. Despite potential distractions and technical challenges, well-managed internet use makes PAI more dynamic and relevant, serving as an essential supporting tool in cultivating both intrinsic and extrinsic student motivation in the digital era.
