This study aims to examine the implementation of the Tasmi' method in improving the quality of memorising Al-Qur'an of students at Nugroho Islamic Boarding School Rambipuji. The Tasmi' method is one of the evaluative approaches used to test the memorisation of students orally through a verse connection model without looking at the mushaf. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the Tasmi' method had a positive impact on the fluency and accuracy of the students' memorisation (mutqin). The halaqoh system, internal motivation, and parents' support are the main factors that support the success of this method. However, obstacles such as differences in memorisation ability between students, psychological pressure during exams, and low consistency of muroja'ah are still a challenge. Overall, the Tasmi' method is effective as a tool for evaluating and fostering memorisation of the Qur'an in a boarding school-based pesantren environment.
